Cooperation with a clear purpose
One to four operators enter a sealed district to retrieve a memory archive. The objective is mission completion and extraction. Enemy patrols, security devices and the Custodian boss stand between the squad and the archive. Read the facility before triggering its alarms: a power panel, cooling pipe or service corridor can change how the next encounter unfolds.
The mission flow
First scout an access route and restore power to an archive terminal. Then defend an interrupted transfer while the facility activates its security response. Disable the Custodian’s control network, secure the recovered archive and reach the extraction point. Optional evidence changes the story context, while the main objective stays readable. The route out should test resource management after the loudest fight ends.
Success and failure
The mission succeeds when a surviving operator extracts the required archive after completing the critical steps. Losing all operators or the mission-critical archive ends the attempt. Checkpoint and retry behaviour still require design validation. Optional evidence should add understanding rather than hold essential combat power behind repeat grinding. There is no live loot service or reward claim on this site.
Read the machine, protect the operator
Watch a hazard cycle before committing the whole group. Assign one player to the interaction, one to approaching repair units and the others to the threatened lanes. Keep a reserve for extraction instead of spending everything during the boss opening. When someone falls, first create a safe recovery angle; rushing into the same sweep only doubles the problem.
