Assault rifle

Free Circuit

A dock-built rifle with a split receiver that opens without tools. Heavy projectiles reward measured fire, while a rough gas cycle pushes alternate shots slightly sideways.

01

Operating principle

A dock-built rifle with a split receiver that opens without tools. Heavy projectiles reward measured fire, while a rough gas cycle pushes alternate shots slightly sideways.

02

Modification choices

A stabilizing stock tightens sustained fire but slows the first aim. A short barrel improves handling at the cost of effective range. A low-magnification optic preserves peripheral vision.

03

Engagement doctrine

Use short bursts from one piece of cover to the next. In PvP and Battle Royale this class bridges street and rooftop fights; in PvE reserve part of each magazine for a drone arriving from another angle.

04

Strengths, limits & counters

Hard individual hits and easy field service come with lateral recoil. Moving targets punish careless continuous fire.

05

Reading the specifications

Damage is one unarmored torso hit at close range; a burst rifle reports one projectile, not an entire burst. Rate is nominal cycling speed; burst pauses, charging, cooling and reloads reduce sustained output. Capacity counts projectiles, shells or charges per load. Range describes the intended engagement distance. Recoil is a 0–100 control-demand index: lower is steadier, not weaker.

06

Operators & modes

Recommended operators: TORQUE, CAIRN. The displayed range is 60 metres in this fictional design. Treat it as a planning guide: sightlines, armor and movement still decide the encounter.
