01

Operating principle

A pneumatic pump action pushes a tight pellet column through a long shroud. The exposed piston must complete its travel before another shot can be fired.

02

Modification choices

A choke concentrates the pellet group and demands better aim. A ported barrel reduces follow-up climb but exposes a larger flash. A shell carrier improves reserve access without changing magazine capacity.

03

Engagement doctrine

Fight around a hard corner and step back during the action cycle. Use in PvP breaches and indoor Battle Royale finishes; PvE armored targets require exposed joints, not center-mass fire.

04

Strengths, limits & counters

Longer useful reach for a shotgun, with a slow follow-up. Dodge the first pattern and attack during the piston stroke.

05

Reading the specifications

Damage is the total from one shell when every pellet hits an unarmored torso at close range. Partial patterns deal less; the number is not damage per pellet. Rate is nominal cycling speed; burst pauses, charging, cooling and reloads reduce sustained output. Capacity counts projectiles, shells or charges per load. Range describes the intended engagement distance. Recoil is a 0–100 control-demand index: lower is steadier, not weaker.

06

Operators & modes

Recommended operators: CAIRN, LATCH. The displayed range is 19 metres in this fictional design. Treat it as a planning guide: sightlines, armor and movement still decide the encounter.
