Melee tool

Ghost Union

A retractable cable carries a short cutting blade from a wrist spool. Its extended sweep reaches beyond an ordinary knife but must return fully before the wielder can change weapons.

01

Operating principle

A retractable cable carries a short cutting blade from a wrist spool. Its extended sweep reaches beyond an ordinary knife but must return fully before the wielder can change weapons.

02

Modification choices

A textured wrap improves grip after landing. A light counterweight speeds recovery but weakens sustained leverage. These tools accept no optics, barrels or ammunition upgrades.

03

Engagement doctrine

Use as a utility tool or a last close-range answer, not a substitute for crossing open ground safely. Useful in silent PvE maintenance tasks and desperate Battle Royale interiors; ranged opponents control the approach.

04

Strengths, limits & counters

Extra reach catches careless corner pushes. The visible cable announces the sweep; step back and retaliate during retraction.

05

Reading the specifications

Damage is one completed strike against an unarmored target. Rate counts complete swings per minute and range is maximum blade reach. Ammunition capacity, reload time and firearm recoil do not apply, so they display a dash.

06

Operators & modes

Recommended operators: WISP, VEX. The displayed range is 3 metres in this fictional design. Treat it as a planning guide: sightlines, armor and movement still decide the encounter.
