REVENANT
Single-seat scout walker
Helix DirectorateA compact four-legged scout walker recovered from automated survey patrols. A single pilot sits above articulated knees with a forward optical pod. Revenant steps over broken rails and low barriers that stop wheeled vehicles, turning ruined infrastructure into a slow but deliberate route.
Function & route
A compact four-legged scout walker recovered from automated survey patrols. A single pilot sits above articulated knees with a forward optical pod. Revenant steps over broken rails and low barriers that stop wheeled vehicles, turning ruined infrastructure into a slow but deliberate route.
Driving technique
Place the next pair of feet on stable ground before increasing pace. The walker can crouch behind low cover but needs time to stand and accelerate. It cannot scale sheer walls; tall obstacles still require a ramp or another route.
Vulnerabilities
Each knee joint is an exposed mechanical weak point. A damaged leg slows the gait and makes the next step predictable. The elevated cockpit is vulnerable from roof level, and the walking rhythm carries farther than the pilot expects in enclosed streets.
Extraction protocol
Use Revenant to survey rubble approaches, then dismount before a precision duel. A Solo pilot needs a route with cover at every stop. In teams, avoid walking ahead so far that support cannot reach the cockpit when a joint fails.
Reading the specifications
Armor and mobility are vehicle-only ratings from 0 to 100; higher means more protection or easier route handling. Armor is not hit points or a damage-reduction percentage. Mobility is separate from top speed: a fast vehicle can still turn poorly or depend on a prepared route.
Operators & modes
Recommended operators: MOTH, SABLE. Capacity is 1 occupants, including the driver. The specifications describe 74 km/h maximum speed under favorable conditions; damage, terrain and cargo reduce practical performance. A vehicle has no ownership-based combat bonuses.
