SHARD

Solo hoverbike

Ghost Union

A single-seat courier bike with an angular floating chassis and a thin red running light. Shard skims over broken pavement and shallow canal edges, carrying one scout between districts before the next lockdown closes the service lanes. It has no mounted weapon.

Function & route

A single-seat courier bike with an angular floating chassis and a thin red running light. Shard skims over broken pavement and shallow canal edges, carrying one scout between districts before the next lockdown closes the service lanes. It has no mounted weapon.

02

Driving technique

Lean into a turn before applying boost; the hover pads need space to shed momentum. A short boost crosses a damaged junction, while a long boost produces a bright wake that advertises your direction. Shard cannot fly or climb vertical walls.

03

Vulnerabilities

The rider is exposed and both rear stabilizers are vulnerable. Damage to one pad produces drift instead of an instant explosion. Tight alleys, overhead fire and cable barriers punish maximum-speed travel.

04

Extraction protocol

In Solo, use Shard to leave a poor position rather than circle an enemy. In teams, let the rider scout the next parking site and return with a clear route. Dismount behind hard cover before looting: an idling hover engine is an audible beacon.

05

Reading the specifications

Armor and mobility are vehicle-only ratings from 0 to 100; higher means more protection or easier route handling. Armor is not hit points or a damage-reduction percentage. Mobility is separate from top speed: a fast vehicle can still turn poorly or depend on a prepared route.

06

Operators & modes

Recommended operators: VEX, WISP. Capacity is 1 occupants, including the driver. The specifications describe 168 km/h maximum speed under favorable conditions; damage, terrain and cargo reduce practical performance. A vehicle has no ownership-based combat bonuses.
